Alberto has been training with the Cortez family for over 20 years. Alberto began his martial arts journey at 16 years old entering in the art of Kosho Ryu Kenpo under the instruction of Sensei Jason Cortez. As a dedicated practitioner, Alberto competed in sparring and traditional kata tournaments.

He went on to earn his black belt after a decade of rigorous training. Transitioning to a new challenge, Alberto humbly began as a white belt in Jiu-jitsu under Sensei Jason. Today, with a little over 8 years in Jiu-jitsu, he not only continues his personal growth but also imparts his knowledge as an instructor, leading the fundamental classes with passion and expertise. Alberto is certainly an asset to Cortez Full Circle Martial Arts and we are blessed to have him as an Instructor.
